POSITION OVERVIEW
Within Novus Capstone’s Research and Analysis Group, this position supports mission focused solutions across multiple customers and procurement requirements. Our team thrives in a multi-disciplined environment, interfacing with Government and Contractor stakeholders, while independently prioritizing tasks for mission execution. We provide rapid response to mission partners. We stake our reputation on every mission we undertake, partnering with a “your problem is our problem” approach.

The Mission Procurement Analyst is responsible and accountable for the execution for rapid response mission procurement and logistics activities. These activities include identifying, researching, and implementing and executing program logistics, procurement, program management, cost, and financial strategies. The Mission Procurement Analyst serves as the company representative in the customer facility.

Typical work may include research, contracting, procurement, inspection, audit, or planning of quick response procurements for structures, software applications, firmware, processes equipment, devices, or materials.

TYPICAL DUTIES
The Mission Procurement Analyst supports a diverse group of national security customers with emerging challenges that range from routine to extraordinary. It is typically co-located with our customers, providing support and analysis for their procurement requirements on a day-to-day basis.

The Mission Procurement Analyst duties and responsibilities require creativity, attention to detail, and sound reasoning in solving mission-related and sometimes complex and fast-moving procurement actions. This position will be called upon to:  
• Provide procurement support, focusing on multiple simple- to-complex commodities and/or specific technologies
• Provide analytical support during vendor and commodity evaluations and discussions
• Communicate effectively and clearly present sound procurement approaches and operational solutions
• Obtain cost quotes and draft purchase order and/or similar and supporting documentation
• Gather and analyze key metrics in order to support procurement program efficiency

Work is performed without appreciable direction. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results. This position interacts with customer’s project and procurement personnel on matters often requiring coordination between diverse organizations. This position may also represent Novus Capstone as the principal procurement contact for some bid and proposal and awarded contract actions.
This position will be filled at one of two labor categories dependent on years of experience and qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ANL2)
• 5 years in a similar role with procurement, finance, or logistics experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Organization and Management, Information Systems, or related field. Related work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
• Strong written communication skills in the development and delivery of presentations and email communications
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present data/findings in a concise and understandable format
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of ERP systems/Unanet
• Current Top Secret security clearance SCI eligibility

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ANL3)
• 9 years in a similar role with procurement, finance, or logistics experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Organization and Management, Information Systems, or related field. Related work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. A master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years’ experience.
• Advanced skills with MicroSoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Strong written communication skills in the development and delivery of presentations and email communications
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present data/findings in a concise and understandable format
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of ERP systems/Unanet
• Current Top Secret security clearance SCI eligibility
