POSITION OVERVIEW
Within Novus Capstone’s Engineering and Analysis Group, this position delivers novel mission-focused solutions across cyber, electronic warfare, and intelligence. Our team thrives in a multi-disciplined environment, interfacing with Government and Contractor stakeholders, while independently prioritizing tasks for mission execution. We provide rapid response to partners across the Intelligence and Special Operations communities around the world. We stake our reputation on every mission we undertake, partnering with a “your problem is our problem” approach.

The Site Operations Lead is responsible and accountable to the Engineering and Analysis Group Lead for organizing and executing Novus Capstone’s engineering and analysis activities at the customer facility in Denver, Colorado. These activities include transitioning low technology readiness level (TRL) research and concepts into solutions for emerging missions, development of analysis plans and tools, and communication of results to stakeholders. The Site Operations Lead serves as the representation of Novus Capstone in the customer facility and will provide expertise that includes analysis tool development, data analysis for performance evaluation, remote sensing data exploitation, and other onsite and offsite customer support.
Typical work may include research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, maintenance, operation, or planning of engineering systems, structures, software applications, firmware, processes equipment, devices, or materials.

TYPICAL DUTIES
The Site Analysis Lead is co-located with our customers, providing analysis of customer data and prime contractor systems. This position directly communicate with stakeholders, driving the direction for system maturation and operations. When offsite, the position supports a diverse group of national security customers and National Laboratories with emerging challenges that range from emerging to extraordinary.

The Site Operations Lead is a senior engineering position whose duties and responsibilities require creativity and engineering judgment in solving unusual and complex engineering challenges. The selected candidate will help determine system performance objectives and requirements, and develop standards and guides. The selected candidate will curate a suite of mission-specific analysis tools to support these activities. Candidates must communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results. This position guides the successful completion of major programs and functions in a project leadership role. This position represents Novus Capstone as the principal technical contact on contracts and projects. This position interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between diverse organizations.
This position will be filled at one of two labor categories dependent on years of experience and qualifications.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (ENG3)
• 5 Years of experience with Bachelor's Degree or; 3 Years with Master's Degree or; 0 Years with PhD.
• Working knowledge of Python programming language
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems
• Demonstrated experience performing complex data analysis tasks

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (ENG4)

• 9 Years of experience with Bachelor's Degree or; 7 Years with Master's Degree or; 4 Years with PhD.
• Experience with Cloud Computing Services and server-less computing environments
• C/C++ programming experience
• Hobbyist-level electronics experience
